Plain

These come in a variety of styles:

TWIST PILE

One of the most popular styles, it comes in wool and manmade fibres. Variously described as “Hardtwist”, “Hightwist” or “Frise” the yarn has been given an extra turn or two and this results in a rougher surface texture which is less prone to showing footmarks.

CARPET PILE COMPARISON

Velvet Sometimes called Velour. A close construction with a short pile and smooth top. Available mainly in tufted and Wilton constructions and in wool or synthetic fibres.

SAXONY

A shorter pile length than shag pile, the tufts tend to be closer together. Saxony styles are available in several different fibres.

SHAG PILE

Today shag piles are designed for luxury and decorative use. In the main they come in heavy weights and would look superb in your penthouse.

TEXTURED

These loop pile carpets come in a variety of textures, mainly in natural and “Berber” tones and are hard wearing. Ideal for the modern family home, these carpets can add a contemporary feel to your environment. Available in Manmade or Wool.

RUGS

Interiors are all about the individual. Custom made rugs, runners and stair runners are designed for those who decorate to please themselves. Handmade by experienced rug makers, the bespoke designs are created to suit any size and shape of room. Rugs are also an obvious choice to ease and complement hard floors. Some manufacturers offer the ability to create your own rug with their rug designer.
